RSU 14 School Board
 Adam Zajzc

“I'm running for school board to build safe schools focused on core education, banning explicit content and divisive ideologies, ensuring Windham kids excel.” ~Adam~

Meet Adam Zajac: Your Fearless Advocate for Windham-Raymond RSU 14 School Board

Adam Zajac is running for the Windham-Raymond RSU 14 School Board, ready to fight for safe, high-quality schools that put students and parents first. As a proud Windham dad, soccer coach, and welding business owner, Adam brings a no-nonsense, results-driven approach to education. He’s not a politician—he’s a community member with a passion for protecting kids and ensuring schools deliver the strong, transparent education families deserve. With Adam, you’re getting a leader who stands firm for what’s right, no matter the pushback.

Adam’s dedication to Windham’s kids shines through in his decade of coaching youth soccer and offering free welding classes to high schoolers, helping them build skills for debt-free careers. His personal journey—overcoming a life-altering accident five and a half years ago that left him in a coma—has made him tougher and more committed than ever. Sober and stronger, Adam channels that resilience into fighting for safe schools and real education. His leadership, honed through sports and business, equips him to challenge the status quo and bring balance to a board he believes has veered too far left.

In 2023, Adam and his 11-year-old son, Knox, made national headlines by confronting the RSU 14 School Board about sexually explicit library books like Gender Queer and Nick and Charlie. Adam called out these materials as inappropriate for young students, tearing up a copy of Nick and Charlie to drive the point home. Despite hundreds of parents voicing concerns, the board kept these books, ignoring the majority. Adam’s bold stand went viral, resonating with families across Windham, Raymond, and beyond who want schools focused on academics, not divisive content. He’s been a relentless advocate at board meetings, demanding transparency and accountability to protect all students.

Adam’s vision for RSU 14 is clear: prioritize academic excellence, student safety, and parental rights. He sees three critical issues facing the district and has bold plans to tackle them:

•  Education: With students falling behind in math and reading—worsened by lost federal funding due to Governor Janet Mills’ Title IX transgender sports policies—Adam will push for tutoring and teacher training to boost core academics, delivering what most families want.

•  Mental Health and Trans Ideology: Adam believes the board’s push for trans ideology affirmation fuels mental health crises. He’ll advocate for more counselors and end harmful policies to protect kids’ well-being, aligning with the majority’s values.

•  Inappropriate Library Materials and Gender Ideology: Adam will protect the innocence of our young children from explicit books and enforce gender-based bathrooms and sports for safety, no exceptions, ensuring schools reflect community standards.

Adam’s not afraid to stand alone against a resistant board, but he’s also a team player who’ll negotiate on budgets or schedules for kids’ sake—though he won’t budge on core issues like explicit materials or gender policies that harm students. He’ll rally families at board meetings, using his coaching experience to drive solutions like better academics, clear policies, and trade programs like shop classes to prepare kids for success. Adam also supports teaching life skills, like budgeting through home economics, to equip students for the real world.

As a board member, Adam will represent both students and parents, ensuring safe, distraction-free classrooms free of “woke” agendas or graphic content. He’ll demand secure buildings, strict safety drills, and top pay to retain excellent teachers, reflecting the majority’s priorities. Despite being denied a middle school coaching role due to his views, Adam remains undeterred, fueled by his commitment to his son and all RSU 14 kids.

Adam Zajac is the leader Windham and Raymond need—a parent, protector, and problem-solver who’ll fight for safe, focused schools. Ready for a board member who listens, stands firm, and delivers results? Vote for Adam Zajac for RSU 14 School Board and let’s put education first!
